Grant Dyson is a nationally published journalist and writer with decades of media experience - newspapers, radio and television, and public relations.
From lifestyle magazines to newspapers, industry publications, and websites, Grant is a clear communicator, with an easy writing style and ‘can do’ attitude.
Grant has contributed to a broad range of publications – from the New Zealand Herald and Sunday Star Times, to National Business Review, North & South, Wilderness, and Boating New Zealand. He’s also spent more than 20 years as a Radio New Zealand and Newstalk ZB reporter, often in sole charge roles. He has taught workshops on handling the media, and tutored Polytechnic broadcast students.
His overseas experience includes three and a half years in Hong Kong with Radio Television Hong Kong, and the South China Morning Post.
Grant is a part-time Public Awareness Advisor with Fish & Game New Zealand, freelance writer and editor, and a publisher of local guide books, calendars and art work.
He’s a long-time surfer, stand up paddle boarder (and coach), cyclist and skier and occasional hiker, with interests including photography, writing and boutique publishing.
